Importance of Toner in Skin Care Regimen

" On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Angie Yarid. I’m from LA Wax and Skincare Center in Miami, Florida, and today we’re going to be talking about different skin care products. Now our third step, after we’ve done our cleansing, whether it’s cleansing for normal skin, dry skin or oily skin, is to apply a toner. That’s important because this cleans off any extra dirt or excess make-up or cleanser that we have left on the skin. This is applied with a cotton, and it’s applied across the surface of the face all the way up, we do not apply under the eyes, close to the eyes. And then we are going to apply a small amount which will balance the PH on the skin, which is very important because that way you do not get infection to the skin and you are able to apply to other skin care products that you need to use."
