" Once the polished has been cleaned up from around the skin, what we will go ahead and do is use our topcoat. You can use any type of or brand of top coat you choose; again, starting from your pinkie. We are continuing on to the next foot. Depending on the type of top coat you use, will vary on the amount of time it takes for the polish to dry on a whole, so your best bet is to leave the nails untouched to air dry for about 5 to 10 minutes. This will ensure that at least the top layer of polish is dry, so that way there is no problems later on with anything such as smudging or what have you. But if anything based on the type of top coat you used and the type of polish you used, you will know whether or not to gage it in the same fashion or give it more or less time. "
