" Hi! My name is Anneka on behalf of expertvillage.com, and in this clip I will be showing you how to polish your nails after your pedicure. First and foremost, what we need is nail polish remover, cotton, cuticle stick, base polish, the color you are using, top coat and toe separators. What we are first going to do is use our toe separators; and basically what we are going to do is place them in between each toe, so that way they don’t touch each other. From there what we are going to do is take our cotton and remover, and we are going to remove any excess oils off your toenails. You can also use alcohol, same thing. The reason why we do this is because the oil is what keeps the nail polish from adhering to the nail, so it is best to remove that before you polish. So first we are going to use our base coat; and just put one coat of this on each nail, starting from the pinkie towards the big toe. You don’t need a lot of polish in order to get this done; just very light since it is only one coat."
