Summary: Treat the odd pieces like every other piece in hair braiding. Learn how to finish multilevel hair braiding with techniques from this free hair styling video.
"Now that we have our crisscross braids we are left with these two other pieces of triangle braids so what we're going to do is take these odd pieces and treat them like we did these other ones, but we're actually going to crisscross them over these. So we're going to start it the way we would start anything else with three sections of hair. Go ahead and do it a few times, and we're just going to go ahead and add, and you can go ahead and be generous with these because we're going to float it and there's not that much hair here at the very top. Ok. Now that we've got all this hair we want to make sure we wrap that bottom one tight and go ahead and braid down, and we're right here so I'm going to go ahead and start adding hair. I'll grab this part, add hair here and go ahead and overlap it. I'm going to do it just one extra time just to make sure I have it here and we're almost done. We've almost done a whole head of hair working towards the bottom not a lot of hair left; just keep running your fingers through it to make sure it's smooth. Keep on your toes about details when it gets towards the end of the head. Don't get sloppy. Don't get lazy. Keep your mind open and be very detail oriented. At the end of braids it's very easy to get tired and allow it to mess up. Now we've got all this hair, pick up these stray little strands, and wrap it underneath and go ahead and braid down and just keep going, and we've braided an entire head of hair. It looks great. We've got the layering and we've got the crisscross on top. We are doing just fine. Once you get the rubber band on this we'll be done and then we'll treat the hair and treat the scalp for maintenance so they can hold on to this style for as long as they need."
