Summary: After crisscross and straight braids are finished, there remains a triangle section to be braided. Learn how to tie up loose ends in multilevel hair braiding with techniques from this free hair styling video.
"After the crisscross braid and having these straight braids going back on the side we are left with some sort of a triangle shaped section of hair. And what I want to show you is that you can take any section of hair and make a straight braid with it. So just like any other braid you are going to grab from the front and get your three pieces and you are going to go right there. And we are just going to keep adding hair and pulling back. The only thing with these odd shapes is that you make sure you stay centered along the whole wave. So when you come over here to where the big part of the triangle comes out start grabbing from the middle and not so much from the outside and adding that way. This will keep it going in the middle, but on this side since there is more hair over here. That is where you want to grab on the outside. It is similar to when you are working on a turning braid. So just, for this left side we are going to grab onto the middle one more time and add that in. And from this right side we are going to keep grabbing from over here and there we are passed the awkward spot. And our braid is going straight back and we are just going to keep working it down just like any straight braid and have it hanging down in the back to have a nice layered braid look in the back which is what we are going for. That is why I love multi-level braids just so we can have some braids hanging down. You see how that looks and you just work it down. And this one is going to hang perfectly in between this top outside braid and this underlying crisscross braid. I am going to get right underneath here. Just like that. Just keep braiding it all the way down. It is easy as pie."
