"Ok now that we've got our section of hair for underlying braid we want to make sure we comb it out really well. All that flipping around and parting can really tangle it up. So we just want to make sure we run our comb through here really good, and then of course this braid is going to start like any other. The only thing with these crisscross braids is you really, really must pay attention to how tight you're holding the hair that way you make sure that it stays centered in the line all the way throughout the head. I'm going to go under, and if you wanted to on the underlying braid, you could do an inbraid just to create even more of an effect of it being underneath the braided hair that goes on top. Be creative. Do what you want to do, but just make sure you hold on really tight to this hair and keep that braid centered, and just keep adding little pieces. The less amount of hair you add at a time the smoother it's going to look because you won't see really large gaps in between each little grab. So you just keep going underneath all the way down. Just be very aware of your tension to keep this braid going down the center of your sectioned hair."
