"What we're getting ready to do now is make our first part on our top level, and since we have this first braid going back and it's part of the second level, we're going to use this bottom braid as our guide. So just take your comb right here and just kind of turn it up and pull your hair out this way just to really see what we're working with. Now you can already see it's got a pretty good bend in there. I don't really know that I want that much. I'm going to soften it up just a little bit so we're going to follow our part, go ahead and separate that and curve it just a little bit more and take some of that hair off just to soften the turn. Let's see. Now we're just going to take this all the way to the front. I try to find places on the edges of changes in the hairline like this is right where her dip starts to go before it comes back out so I really like the placement of this part. It's going to go right there and we will be ready to braid after we put this up. Make sure you keep it really tight. No way, you do not want any of this hair to come over, and we'll be ready to braid."
