"Now that the hair and the scalp is clean and we've put our first bit of oil on the scalp. We're going to get the hair ready to be combed all over before we start to part and braid. What I'm going to add is some Egyptian Magic to oil the entire amount of hair. You just scope up a little bit like that and rub it in your hands to melt and just run it throughout the hair. Not too much right now. We're going to moisturize at the end when we're getting the scalp ready to just be maintained after braids. This just kind of helps the comb slide through. Not so much tension on the scalp and gets it ready, gets it ready to go. Not too much. You're going to want to use either a Pick, a larger Pick, or just a wide tooth comb. Just to be really gentle on the scalp and just start with the very outside and gradually work your way further down."
