And we know that head is the top part of our body, so "tou" also it means the "first" or the "best", "the most important". "Tiao", you know that this is the Chinese word for "piece". And also "tiao" is the measure word for "xtn wen". So "tou tiao xtn wen", that's headline. "Tou tiao"; sometimes people also just say "tou tiao", which means "tou tiao xtn wen". "Tou tiao" or "tou tiao xtn wen", "headline"."
