"Be appointed in Chinese we can say, "bei jen ming." Actually when we come to this structure we learn two words. One is the passive phrase bei jen ming. And the other is jen ming. Like the word tei shang which means promote or promotion, jen ming is verb and also a noun. Jen ming means a point or be appointed. Bei, we know that this is the Chinese word with passive meaning. Jen ming or pointed. Let's see an example, he was appointed as the director. And lets see one more example using jen ming. In the positive voice, I appoint him as the director. So jen ming is appoint. Bei jen ming, get appointed."
