"O.k., check in at the airport is what we say in Chinese, ban li deng ji. Ban li deng ji, check in. We know that English, in English, check in, it means that to check in at the airport, to check in the hotel. All use this word check in. Well in Chinese we have different versions for check in. If you check in at a hotel we say this is ru zou. Here at the airport, it's ban li deng ji. Ban li means do. Deng ji, to get aboard. So deng is board. Ji is for plane. So ban li deng ji together is check in at the airport. Ban li. Ban and li are two characters that share a similar meaning. So this is again is what we call a coordination word. Deng, board. Ji, plane. Ban li deng ji, check in."
