"This is a read together book. Any books that have a repetitive motion to them are very catchy for the kids and it's easy for them to start learning how to read. This one is Dishy-Washy. You could skip all the way to each page and you can see what I mean by the pattern. "He washes plates and bowls, dishy-washy, dishy-washy. He washes pots and pans, dishy-washy, dishy-washy." And after a few times the children here that, I would read it like this. "He washes the cat's dish. Dishy..." and the children would finish the sentence. And this kind of helps them to start feeling like they're reading on their own a little bit. Dr. Seuss books are also a very good one. Anything with a rhyme to them or any type of a pattern are a great read together book."
