Video Transcript

"This is sand tracing. You have a tray, you can put sand in it, you can put just about anything that once you draw in it and shake it, it'll settle. This is actually tang in here. So, when you start the activity, you show the child "C", "C"; "C". Then you slide it over and have them do it; "C", "C". Have them erase it by shaking it a little bit. Have them do it several times until they have mastered it. Once they go "C", "C". The next thing, the next step would be to have them write on a piece of paper. Just take a piece of paper and have them write with either a marker or a very thick pencil. This is all learning how to form the letters."
