When you start, you lay these out, you say this is ten, and you put one ten next to each area. Then you'll say, this is one. Ten and one is eleven. This is eleven. This is eleven. One, two. This is two. This is twelve. This is twelve. One, two, three. Three and ten is thirteen. This is thirteen. This is thirteen. One, two, three, four. This is fourteen. This is fourteen. One, two, three, four, five. This is fifteen. This is fifteen. One, two, three, four, five, six. This is sixteen. This is sixteen. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Ten and seven, seventeen. This is seventeen. This is seventeen. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Eight plus ten is eighteen. This is eighteen. This is eighteen.
