"The next thing we want to do is talk about 'worthwhile'. You have hopefully picked a topic in which you have a strong belief in, or you're excited about, or you want to share it with other people. What you need to think about at this point is, how will your listeners benefit from what it is that you have to say? What is worthwhile about your topic? And, if you're not sure right off the top of your head, then you need to think about what makes this worthwhile. If you're doing a topic about recycling because you think that's a good idea, maybe you care about that a little bit. Well, why is that worthwhile? Well, it's worthwhile because it could help our planet, it could help our future generations. That's something your listeners can benefit from. So find that worth whileness and incorporate that into your speaking. Just like you would tell friends about problems or, maybe you talk to your husband, or you wife, or your mom, or your dad about things that matter. Things that you think are worthwhile. Talk to your audience that way."
