"Now, something else you want to be aware of is evaluating each particular situation, every time you're in it. Now you might have planned everything out. You might have your humor planned but let's say you walk into a situation. You're giving a speech and you've got this great joke about Bill Clinton (easy to do). Bill Clinton's sitting in there. Now you have to evaluate in that moment, should I tell the joke, or should I not. And that can go for all kinds of situations. Maybe you're going to give a speech to the Ladies Luncheon and you've got this really funny story to that you're going to tell. When you get there you discover that children were allowed to come. And maybe the joke wouldn't be quite so funny to children because it's about children. Evaluate the situation and decide if the humor will be effective or not."
