"Alright now when you're considering your choices of humor I want talk to you for a minute about being vulgar. Alright, in certain audiences this could potentially, possibly, maybe, a teeny-tiny-itty-bitty-bit okay. But we're just going to say it's not. The humor that you use should be tasteful. Tastefulness and vulgarity are never a substitute for wit. That's just really not funny. Maybe at a comedy show, maybe (whatever) different circumstances, but as a professional speaker- as a confident speaker- you want your humor to be tasteful. If you have any doubt at all that the humor choices that you've made are going to possibly offend, possibly be vulgar, possibly not be tasteful. Follow the rule of thumb. Don't do it.
