"Alright, we're talking about the strategies that you can use in compliance resisting and now we're going to talk about the third one, which is justification. And justification can be negative, it can be positive. But it is simply just justifying why you don't want to do what the other person wants you to do. If we jump back to the research paper example, they want to copy our research paper. We'll justify why this can't happen. Well, I'm afraid that I would get caught and if I get caught, then I'll get an F and if I get an F, then I'm going to fail this course and my parents are going to make me move back home and I really don't want to do that. Whatever your justification is, come up with something this is why I can't do what you want me to do."
