"This activity is called matching beads. At the beginning of the year, we would do an activity like this with objects that are quite different from one another. It's to help to teach the children visual discrimination so they can discriminate from one letter to the next. And, as the year progresses, the activity would become a little bit more difficult. We would have objects that are quite similar, but just a little bit different. This is called matching beads. That is matching beads."
