"This is care of an animal. This is our guinea pig Squeaky. Now you know why. Teacher opens the cage and gets out the dish. We have a Dixie cup in there that's the perfect portion for the guinea pig. The children scoop up the food and put it in the dish and put the dish back in there. Teacher always makes sure the cage is locked again. Then another child takes the water dish out and they can open it and go fill it, put the lid back on then reattach it to the cage. Make sure you always show the children to talk to the animal."
