"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village we've collected crystals from the diaper and put them in the cup now were going to see what happens when Welcoe pours water into it. Welcoe take the water and fill the half cup almost full. Now slowly pour that water into our crystals and lets see what happens. Let it sit for just a little bit. Do you see anything happening? What do you see? It's growing. Now see if you can pour the water back into our half cup. Hey where's the water. The crystals that we removed from the diaper are sodium apoliatecrylic. It is know as a super absorbing polymer. It is a chemical structure of the super absorbing polymer that allow to absorb an amazing amount of liquid. Welcoe is going to do a little magic trick for us. Shushana do want to help us, come on get on over here. I'm going to take on these empty Styrofoam cups and put water inside. And now I'm going to make it disappear for you. Abracadabra dipidydo make this water disappear for you. Put your hands out to pour the water. Where did the water go. "
