"Hi, I'm Karen for ExpertVillage. Let's make flubber, Naomi is gonna show us how. We're gonna need: Water, 2 glass or plastic containers, 2 mixing spoons, a 1/3 cup measuring cup, borax, you can find that in the laundry detergent section in the grocery store, a little food coloring, a bottle of white glue, a teaspoon measure, and a bowl to mix everything together. Are you ready to start? "Yeah." Okay, first you're gonna take the water and pour 2 of these 1/3 cup measures of water into one cup. Okay? Can you pour that? Is it too much? Fill it right up to the top, it's okay if it spills over, fine, fill it right up to the top. Then put it into the glass. Good, that's alright, a little water on the table. Alright, very good. Okay, pour that right, nope, nope, into this tube, both of them into this one, that's fine, I'll just pour it back in. Now, stop, now take the teaspoon measure and put 2 teaspoons of borax into that water, nice and even, good girl. Great, put it in, that's one, and now another one to make 2. Go ahead and shake it nice, good, nice and even, now take a spoon and stir that up, okay, stir it up good. Now, we're gonna set that one aside, and we're gonna mix up, you can leave the spoon right in it cause we'll stir it one more time. We'll set that aside, now take this one, I want you to put one 1/3 cup of water into this glass. Good job, put it right in there, that's into the water, now put the food coloring in there, you can put it all in there, we'll have some nice green flubber. Now, we're going to fill up 1/3 cup of the white glue, and we're gonna pour that in there, mix it up, take the cover right off, because we need a 1/3 cup of it, that's quite a bit. Fill it up right up to the top, and then you can scrape it into the cup with the spoon. Fill it right up, you're gonna use almost the whole bottle. Good, that's good, stop there. Whoops, that's why we put plastic on the table, that's okay. Now, pour it into the glass and scrape it out with the spoon. Get all the glue into that, and then stir it up. Here, let me help you. Scrape it all in there, and then stir it up. Get it all? Okay, that's good, now stir it up, so it's nice and smooth. "It's hard", yeah, but it'll all mix into the water, you might have to stir it for a little while. Oh, what a lovely color. Does it look like flubber, "No," not yet, keep stirring it, let's get it nice and smooth. Next, we're gonna pour our two solutions together and see what happens."
