Video Transcript

" Hi, I?m Katlin the creator of creative English. I am here on behalf of expert village, and I'm going to explain to you why reading games are important for children. What is the same in the words airplane and an apple? They all start with A. They all start with A excellent very good. They should be an alphabetical book. Let's see it goes, says Jim, ABC then, said Rosie. What does Rosie say? DEFGH. Well done you know the alphabet. What's next? You read together, you put your fingers together; it will give them the pleasure of reading. I think that's the greatest thing that they get used to sitting down, having a quiet time, and enjoy the books, and later on sometimes when you are in the kitchen and cook something they may have their quiet time and they may read for you. You can also ask them to read a few lines for you or tell you the story from the pictures and it doesn't matter if they don't tell the same story that the actually says. the most important thing is they guess , they talk and they describe things. They try to pay attention to small details they can tell the difference between boys and girls, and their movements and their acting in an activity, so try to cooperate with your child as much as you can."
