Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Ann Kennedy on behalf of Expert Village, and we'll be looking at how to teach a child to read using big books and read alouds. Read alouds part three, we're on page six. Then she threw it in a tree. How would you feel? You let her play with your airplane and she threw it in a tree? Page seven. Let's turn the page and find out now what happened. I went hiking with my friends, my little sister said, me too. I had to carry her because she got tired. Me too, me too. Let's turn the page. The next page says, when my little sister saw us playing football she said me too, then we had to be careful. Did you notice we went from the top to the bottom. The next page, page eleven, I wonder how they all feel about this and the little sister wanting to play football? Do they look happy to you? What do you think? Let's turn the page and see what happens."
