"So we see that the way that these numbers are formed, are pretty regular in Chinese. So from twenty on. Actually you need to put the character er, two, in front of shi yi then that becomes er shi yi , that's twenty one. It is the same with twelve, that's twenty-two er shi er, er shi san, er shi si, er shi wu, er shi liu, er shi chi, er shi ba, er shi jiu (Chinese writing demo) So we will talk about thirty later on. But, you can see just by adding the er character in front of the tens, including eleven and twelve, you make up from twenty-one to twenty-nine. It's not recommended that you squeeze everything in like what I'm doing, just find plenty of room to write properly for yourself."
