"When traveling in Germany you might want to shop for souvenirs or clothing or groceries. Grocery shopping is pretty much the same, than in the US. You would just look for a grocery store, and if you would need to ask somebody where the nearest grocery store is, you would say “Ich suche ein Lebensmittelgeschaft.” In English, I am looking for a grocery store. Once again in German, “Ich suche ein Lebensmittelgeschaft.” If you would like to shop for souvenirs you would say “Ich suche ein Souvenirladen.” I’m looking for a souvenir shop. Once aging in German, “Ich suche ein Souvenirladen.” If you would shop for clothes and you would want to ask the price for say a pullover, you would ask, “Wieviel kostet der Pullover?” In English, how much is the pullover.” Once again in German, “Wieviel kostet der Pullover?” If you are shopping for a special size for the pullover, you would probably ask “Haben sie die Pullover auch in Grobe 38?” Do you have this pullover also in a size 38. Again in German, “Haben sie die Pullover auch in Grobe 38?” When you are finished shopping and you are ready to pay it is not so usual to pay with a credit card as it is in the United States, so you might want to ask, “Kann ich mit Kreditkarte bezahlen?” Can I pay with my credit card? Once again in German, “Kann ich mit Kreditkarte bezahlen?” "
