Defending with Weapons in a Zombie Attack

"Hi! My name is Bert and I'm Andrew. We're here on behalf of Expert Village. We're going to teach you how to survive a zombie attack. We're straight out of the ZSA and we know what's going on. In this segment, we're going to talk about close combat weapons, weapons that you would use as a last resort to fight off the zombie. Something that I recommend to you never to do, that I would never do, is use fists to fight a zombie. You never want to go with the old Tom Brokaw. No. Give you a broke jaw to a zombie. If you punch in their face and tooth cuts through your hand, or if a piece of blood spurts in your and you're not wearing cool glasses like this. It gets under your fingernail. Fingernails, anything. You're going to turn into a zombie and you're going to 100% die. Yeah. What you want to do is you want to use another form of weapon. We're going to go through some good weapons and some not so good weapons that you might think would be a good idea. Say you were to stumble in random barn in the middle of nowhere. Here are some things that you can find to help you out. Shovel. Highly appropriate to kill a zombie. It gives you a nice distance and you can penetrate the head. The only way to kill a zombie, if you've been paying attention, is to smash through its brain. You need to kill the brain. Zombies cannot feel pain. If you smack a zombie in the face it's not going to feel it. If you kick a zombie in the leg it's not going to feel it. It's going to still come after you. You need to decapitate it and break the head open, and this baby will do the trick. 2x4: junk. It's not going to penetrate and get the brain. Pitchfork: great. These things stab right through their head. Very nice if you're at a barn. Snow shovel. No. It's plastic. Hammer. Hammer's a good last resort. Not my first choice, but yeah. This could obviously puncture through the head, but you have to get so close to the head. It's probably bad idea. These scissors: terrible idea. They're small and they'll break right on the zombie's head. Dumb. This is my personal favorite. A metal object. This wouldn't be my first choice. I would go for a crowbar. A crowbar is probably the best close combat weapon you can come in contact with. That and a samurai sword right? Machete. Machetes are good. Yeah. The thing about a machete is it can't get dull and it can easily break. If you want to go for something that probably won't break and that is not heavy, because you want to be able to maneuver it and keep your agility, would be rod iron or crowbar. Of a machete. Those break. Oh yeah."
