"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Caroline, and I'm here to tell you about Witchcraft. This is a cauldron, and what I use the cauldron for is, a lot of times I will put together a spell or a healing and I'll burn it. Of course, you don't want to have anything burn that's not in a safe unit, so I will use this. For example, I'm just going to do a quick demonstration here. If I was doing something for love, I've got some rose petals in here. I would use oil but, I'm not going to get up and get that since this is a quickie. And a little bit of hissa, for purification because you want a pure love. Then I would fold towards myself because this is what I'm trying to pull in. Sometimes it does make a little bit of a mess, but that's okay because you can scoop it up. Towards me, towards me, and then what I do is I take and I light it and I let it burn and it's almost like having a wish. Like a lot of times I'll write on it what I would like. So say this was to bring a lover towards me, with pure and honest thoughts. I would have written their name and my name on it. If it was for healing, I would write down who I would like healed and what I would like healed on them. And then I just kind of poke around and look and see how it burned, make sure that it's all burned. A lot of times I divine, which is to say you see what the outcome is, by seeing how well it burned, or what burned and what didn't burn. Now since this isn't an actual spell where I put energy into, it didn't exactly burn the way it would have but you get the general idea. Also what the cauldron is used for is some people put candles in it. It's also used for what we call the Great Rite. The shape being the shape of a womb, it would be a female shape. The shape of the athame, being the phallic shape is male. So the Great would be the uniting of the male and female, or of fertility. "
