"We receive all kinds of funding support. The biggest contributions that we receive are from individuals. Typically our average donation is in the range of twenty-five dollars. But we also do some core national events that we have as fund-raising, which include our Walk Like MAAD event, we include our Shifting Gears Road Rally that we've got, as well as other things that help support our causes as well, like our victim impact panels that we have. We go through and all those donations that are raised within that state, stay within that state, and so we are able to then reinvest those into our programs. We are able to reinvest those into our services to that local community. So that's one of the things that was appealing to me to come to this organization, and it's one of the things that's appealing to our volunteers and supporters because that money and those funds go right back into their community to save lives in their own backyard. We go in and like I said, we have volunteers that do everything from us from car washes to car shows to bake sales. All of that money, each one of those contributions adds up to where we're able to go in and do programs in the schools. And the more money we have, the more mission we're able to actually do. So we're very fortunate, and we appreciate everyone's support. "
