" Hello, I am Jeff Trentham, I am the children’s pastor at Calvary Church and I am coming to you on behalf of Expert Village. One of the things here at Calvary Church that we do is we take the recruiting of our workers very seriously, so we have several things that are in place. If somebody is interested in working in the children’s ministry or the youth ministries, we have a little brochure that they would look at and they would fill out with their name, number, address, and all of that. And then we would contact them with a packet, an information packet that basically just – it is an application and when we get that we do a background check, we do references, reference checks and we get all of that stuff done before a person can work in children’s ministries. So they have to turn in their application, we have to do a background check, we send out references and we have to get those back, training that is geared for children’s ministries and then they also have to go through an interview with our Child Protection Committee."
