" Hello, I am Jeff Trentham; I am the children’s pastor here at Calvary Church. One of the things that we like to do is to pass out quiet seat prizes, this helps to reinforce the kids in paying attention, looking up here at the front and seeing what is going on up here because what goes on up here is important. We ask the kids to sit up straight and tall in their chair, keep their hands in their lap, their mouths are closed, and their eyes are up front because what goes on up here is important. And I may have about ten of these that I will hand the workers and they will pass them out throughout the service and it is just another reinforcement to keep the kids focused on what is happening up here. And while they are watching up here, I have got to keep them excited and energized with what is going on in our service so I will have different things throughout the service, different object lessons, gospel illusions that we will do. We will have video that we show; we have all kinds of different elements of our service, puppets, all of that kind of stuff and games. So that helps keep the kids’ attention. "
