"Hi I'm Linda Lion with Expert Village, and I've been working with children for a very long time. Today we are going to share ways that you can pass your protestant faith along to your children and I love using simple applications because they really have a lot of impact. One of the things I did with my children when they were younger was to get them involved with bead art and this is one that my son made for me when he was about 10yrs old. The reason why I like bead art is because it keeps the children busy for a very long time. So if you're on a hectic schedule and you still want to spend quality time with your children but you don't have the time to invest in a lot of personal activity because you are so caught up into another thing, then allow the children to work bead art, and when they do that tell them to make something scriptural out of it, with my son in this case it was the cross, he built the cross according to whatever design he had in his mind. Well, you can tell your children to build some other kind of object it may be a rose representing the rose of sharing, or it might be one where they may have some little animals and you have them do a bead art related to the animal, but it's a great way for you to have an interaction with your child but at the same it keeps them pretty much self contained because it takes them so long to work these bead projects, but never let them do it by themselves totally because you have to iron these to make them all stick together so you normally have a wax sheet of paper that you put on both sides of the object and you put a light iron to it and then it molds it into shape. So I would like to encourage you to get involved in bead art because it's a great way to teach your children it's a great way for you to have personal time with them while they are totally absorbed in something that they are enjoying. I'm Linda Lion with Expert Village."
