"In this clip, we're going to talk about who attends a convention. Again, it's going to depend on whether or not it's a business-type convention or if it's going to be more of a social-type convention. Basically what you want to do is to decide who your target audience is. In many conventions, such as for example sci-fi conventions, anime conventions, your target audience is going to be young. It's going to be adolescents, it's going to be teenagers. It's going to be those people who want to come and basically have a good time. On a business convention, again depending on your subject matter you are going to have business people. You're going to have people who want to come to learn. And I've attended both. And I've actually operated in both modes, so the people who come have to be a target for who you want to bring in. In addition, you're going to need vendors. You're going to need vendors either again if it's a fun convention, or if it's a business convention. So decide who the target audience is, what the target subject matter is, and then you'll want to go out and get vendors who are going to bring in items that are going to help you be successful."
