"Now sometimes you're sending an email to one person and sometimes you are sending it to a group of people. Perhaps, you're sending it to the whole office staff, or to the entire PTO committee, whatever it is. If you are writing an email to an individual person, make sure you address and write the letter specifically to that person. If you are writing an email to a group of people, you want to address and write the letter as if you're talking to all of them, at one time. So instead of using phrases like "you", I mean words like you, you might want to use words like "we". "We as the Parent Teacher Organization...", you know, rather than a direct one on one conversational tone with one person. That way everybody feels like they are involve and apart of the, you know, a recipient to the letter."
