"Alright now, we're talking about "Introductions", and I want to talk for just a minute about when you introduce someone else. We just talked about introductions between one person and another, well you introducing someone is a little bit of the same thing, but I want you to think in terms of your role as kind of "weaving together" the information. These people don't know each other, we want to establish a connection and you're going to help do that if you're introducing someone: "Sid, this is Carol Lombard from Bank of XYZ, and she's here to give a workshop for our accounting people today. And Carol, this is Steve Thomas, he's the vice president of the marketing department--whatever it is". Give that background information, who they are, and why they're there, and why this is even taking place. Kind of almost think of yourself as a little bit of a "tour guide"--I have to show everybody, I have to introduce everybody , I have to put the pieces of the puzzle together."
