"Now it's also good to smile. Other types of business situations, compliments, praise, always when you are receiving a compliment or praise, you always want to smile. Now, compliments and praise sometimes make people feel a little bit uncomfortable. Again, if you smile that will help ease your discomfort, but it also shows that you appreciate being recognized, you appreciate the accolade. Maybe the boss comes up and introduces you as the best secretary in the pool, or whatever it is, you want to smile, you want to show your gratitude, you want to show your thanks. The same goes for when you're giving a compliment or giving some kind of praise. By smiling, it shows a bit of sincerity. I'm going to give you this compliment and I'm going to give you a friendly smile, to show you that I really mean it, that you're doing a good job, that you are a good employee, that I really appreciate what it is that you're doing for us here. So, smiling on compliments and praise in both directions, very important."
