"Alright, we've got you all dressed up, looking good with your fancy clothing and style, moving and shaking. But now, let's make sure you are clean. Cleanliness is a super important as far as business etiquette goes. It doesn't matter how great your clothes look. You need to make sure that you are clean, that your hair is washed, that you have taken a bath, that you have used deodorant and brushed your teeth and used mouthwash and that your fingernails are clean and trimmed properly. Because those are the tiny little things that aren't so tiny. They are huge. And, in the business world, when you go to meet someone, maybe you go to shake their hand or you have a business meeting with them, you really don't want all of their focus to be on how bad you smell or how dirty your fingernails are or that you really have bad breath. So be very, very aware of all of those elements of staying clean. Another thing you want to be aware of is don't go to the extreme. And primarily, I'm talking about with scent. You want to smell good, but you don't want to overdo everything. You know, don't overdo your product. Don't put so much mousse in your hair that it's standing straight up. Don't put on so much perfume that we can smell you three miles down the road. Keep it moderate, but keep it clean."
