How to Turn when Pulling a Trailer

"Hi, I am Albert Headsmith with Expert Village. We are going to talk a little bit about basic tailoring. Right now we are going to talk about some basics of driving a trailer. One of the first things that you have to remember is that it is just like driving a car with a middle axes. So, one of the first things that you want to do is that you really want to start to use your mirrors, you want to look around and make sure that their is nothing around you that you are going to hit because you got to remember that your vehicle is now twice as long. Basic acceleration is pretty standard you don't want to speed up to quickly with a trailer especially when you have a load because their is a lot of blind spots that are not usually their in a normal vehicle. Basic turning, something that you really have to remember is it is much wider than normal. You should enter out because you also have a fifteen foot trailer behind you. So it is important to watch your mirrors as you turn and to make sure that you are not clipping sidewalks, curbs or other cars. While going forward it is important to keep your distance from other cars remember that you are carrying extra weight that you aren't just driving with your basic vehicle. It will take just a little longer to stop and if you need to you should probably go ahead and give yourself some extra room in case someone slams on breaks. If you don't you take the chance of jackknifing the trailer which is never fun and can ruin the trailer in general."
