Ninjutsu Techniques for the Bo Staff

"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Anthony Lucas of the Bujinkan Koteki Dojo, in New York City. Today I want to show beginning techniques of Ninjutsu. O.K. the next thing you would use the same thing that we did with the previous one. With the Bull staff, the six foot staff, is to reach from a grab. And from a grab and from the attackers punch, I'm just going to move in a natural flow manner. So if Meredith grab, and she's grabbing with her left hand to set up the punch with her right hand. As she goes to punch I'm going to step off line with the bull and for me I just step here and come up slow and come back down. O.K. so Meredith's grabbing as she grabs she steps into punch, I step off line. So the bull is basically trapping her punching arm. So as she do that, I am going to just rock in and give her barring as I do that I'm just going to do this here. I'm basically I got her trapped."
