"Hi! I'm Brenda F. Dixon, a licensed clinical social worker here in Nashville, Tennessee, and we're here with Expert Village today. The best way to be able to know more about anger is to know how to express it. There is an appropriate way and there is an inappropriate way. The appropriate way or the healthy way to do it is to be very direct, to speak exactly what you want to speak. I feel blank when you blank is a good way to express yourself. Another way is to validate a person when they have this anger. You can say things like I can see that you're really angry or I'm starting to notice that there's anger around you. That's a good way to get into managing anger. Anger. It's very elicit because it begins to start. It starts with your thought and it goes all the way down through your system and it can grow and grow on you, just as I said in an earlier segment. You have to know more about anger and how to express it appropriately, to be able to manage it in the workplace."
