In this free video series, our expert Leslie Moselle will teach you how to be a the best waiter you can be. She will show you how to greet the customer, upsell, advise the customer, deal with declined credit cards, and properly serve mixed gender parties. She will also teach you how to ask for help from other waiters, handle customer complaints, deal with rude or special needs customers, and present and open bottles of win at the table. Leslie will also teach you how to id customers, refill drinks, know your menu and alcohol, deal with split checks, clear the table, watch for walkouts, and handle spills. "Hi! My name is Leslie Moselle and we're here at Mickey Quinn's in Seminole, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, this is how to be a successful server. So I got my first table and they just sat down. Once you get your first table, you want to make sure you greet your customer as soon as possible. Don't let them sit down at the table too long by themselves wondering where their server is. Once you get to the table, make sure you say your name, big smile, say hi my name is so and so and I'll be taking care of you today. I'm going to go ahead and head over to my table. Give them to decide on what they want to eat or drink, but if they are ready to place any orders, I'll go ahead and do that right away. Good afternoon. Welcome to Mickey Quinn's. My name is Leslie and I'm going to be your server today. Hi, Leslie. Hi. Did you need a moment to look over the menu? Yes, please. Wonderful. I'll go ahead and give you a second. Take your time. "
