"Hi, on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm Lori Wyman from Lori Wyman Casting in North Miami Beach, Florida and today we're going to talk about on camera auditioning techniques. This topic is looking into the camera. Every time you audition you must look towards camera. I remember one time I had an actress that was auditioning and every time she would start to speak she would do this, "hi, my name is" and then we would finish and then she'd look back at the camera. I asked her every single time make sure you look towards the lens of the camera. Can you see me when I do this? Of course not, so you must make sure that every time you audition, you look towards the lens of the camera. Sometimes the audition requires that you look directly into the lens of the camera and some times the audition requires that you look off to the right or off to the left. So make sure you remember, where is that camera? Look towards it and we'll be right back."
