"Now that we're prepared to go to work, I just want to give you a few tips on how to make it through the night when you get tired or you fatigued. Remember, you pack your lunch bag and you have fruit, you have snacks, you have your coffee mug, you have hot chocolate and tea, and you also should have any snacks that you want to eat. If you feel like you need a pick me up, eat some raisins, eat an apple, eat fruit, eat fruit snacks, make yourself a nice cup of coffee or hot cup of tea, hot cup of hot chocolate, and try to just rejuvenate your body. Also, being a nurse, you work in a high stress environment and you may have times where you feel overwhelmed or stressed out. At these times, you want to make sure that if you could, take a little break. A nice couple minutes where you get your mind together and take a deep breath, relax, and try to get your thoughts together. That'll help you throughout the night. That'll help get things going and help you deal with these stressful situations better."
