"Now that we have our lunch bag and ready to go, I want to tell you some tips and things that you'll definitely need for your work bag. The size of the bag is up to you. I like to have room so I can put my lunch and any other thing that I might want to take to work with me. I almost all the time definitely want to have an extra set of scrubs. Working as a nurse in a pediatric institution with kids, you never know if you may get vomit on you or blood or something spilled. It's always best to just have an extra set of scrubs in your bag. It's your size, you know it fits, and you're comfortable with them just in case you have an accident at work. I also take a jacket. In the daytime, the temperature is pretty regulated, but at night sometimes it gets cold and you may need a jacket. I take either like a nice little hoody jacket or a regular scrub jacket that you can get from the scrub stores. I definitely make sure I pack that and have it with me at all times."
