"We are here to learn about public speaking. In our episode today, we are going to focus on timing. Not muscles. That is right, those are muscles… timing. The mark of a polished speaker is absolutely his or her timing; and the best tool for this is the pause. Here are three types of pauses. And I will use the same sentence. Money is the root of all evil. So beware. Money is the root of all evil. So beware. Money is the root of all evil. So beware. You see how the different types of pauses change it. The length of your pause will have a different emotion, as will the location in the sentence. Using these pauses you will be sure to have amazing—not muscles—timing."
