"We'll start off with a trivia question regarding the hedgehog. Let me extricate it from its paper prison. The question, what is the hedgehog's American cousin? A multiple choice inverse alphabetical order. Is that the wolverine, skunk, raccoon, porcupine, opossum, or badger? Now the prize. The only prize for the correct answer is one pat on the back that you'll have to administer to yourself. Certainly better than a slap on the belly with a wet trout. Now before we get to the answer, let?s tell you that over in England, poor little hedgehogs are having trouble. Because the winter has been warm for them, and instead of hibernating, they've been running around getting their feet injured. But at the Tiggywinkles Animal Hospital in Birmingham, they're applying little booties to their paws so they're not injured. Isn't that kind? How about that. Now let's go back to the trivia question. Again, which animal is the hedgehog's American cousin? The wolverine, skunk, raccoon, porcupine, opossum or badger? Is that your final answer? The porcupine, too darned easy. Now a few facts about porcupines. They're technically classed as rodents, the typical adult porcupine has over thirty thousand quills. How about that. And the Porcupine River is located where? Up in Yukon Territory in Canada."
