"Now for two related cases. The first comes from Jitar, India, where a guru, aged eighty was claiming that his right leg had healing power. And many people were coming up and rubbing their hand against, and claimed they were cured of everything from diabetes to heart disease, to even cancer. Well apparently this guru bragged a bit too much. Because two men recently came over, cut off his arm and cut off his leg, and stole the right leg. Yes! They apparently, they wanted to use it for their own help, or perhaps try to sell the right to use it. Now they left the guru bleeding. Fortunately, he was found, taken to a hospital. He'll be okay, minus his right leg. Now let?s turn to another case of a man in Hayden, Idaho. But first let me read to you from the Good Book. This is Matthew, chapter five, verse thirty. You probably have heard this before. "And if they right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee." Well, this man up in Hayden, Idaho apparently took this to heart. He claimed that he saw the sign of the Devil in his hand. Now we don't know if that's the six sixty-six mark of the Devil or some other demonic symbol. But he saw it, and he lobbed off the hand. Now he had the presence of mind to put a tourniquet on the stump so he wouldn't bleed to death. Then he placed that hand in the microwave, and cooked it until it shriveled up and could not be reattached. Now what I say about that man, obviously a man of high principle. Also a strong candidate, a very strong candidate for our Doofus of the Week Award. Yes."
