Summary: You have to hear about these bizarre hospital stories. Watch this free video clip and see for yourself.
"A feather and a fly swatter. At the Middleberg Heights Hospital in Cleveland, recently staffers noticed that a man appeared to be asleep for several hours on the hospital waiting room sofa. When they went over to check on him, they found out that he needed a dirt blanket that he was undergoing the big sleep. How about that. So if you ever have to go to a hospital as a patient or perhaps as a visitor always carry with you a feather and if you see someone asleep on the sofa, go over gently and tickle them on the nose. Because they too may be partaking of the big sleep and also need a dirt blanket. Now we have another case. This is at the V.A. center in Virginia. A nurse noticed something coming out of a patient?s nose. He didn't even know it. When she went to inspect, you know what she found? Maggots coming out of his nose, maggots! Apparently a fly had entered through an open window and deposited eggs in his nose and they grew into maggots, horrible! And you know what I say to that? That if you have to go to the hospital, you should also take with you a fly swatter and nail those flies. Nail those flies! Nail them dead! Nail them dead! You don't want maggots coming out of your nose. Do you? Of course not. So again, take a feather and a fly swatter whenever you go to a hospital."
