Video Transcript

"Welcome back! In this segment we're going to discuss how to start the massage with your client on the table. Basically what we do is we lay the hands on the client to introduce them to your touch. Now, what you want to do is watch the breathing of your client. If they're breathing rapidly, then they haven't relaxed yet and so you just maintain your hands on the client's shoulder until they get comfortable with your touch to the point where they can relax their breathing. Then once you find that the client is comfortable with your touch, you can gently work your way down to their feet. What I do is I simply just start touching along the arms, working my way down, touch the hands and the legs, up to the knees, down the lower leg and then we're at the feet. This is where I'd like to begin the massage is with the feet."
