"Hello, in this clip we’re going to talk about Phytoestrogens. Now what is phytoestrogen? Well basically these are natural forms of products that you can find out there that is naturally produced that actually has the same structure as the body’s estrogen hormone that is what women produce from the ovaries. Now when you are entering menopause, the cause of menopause is that your ovaries stop producing estrogen, that estrogen hormone. So to be able to supplement that depletion or that cessation of the natural body’s estrogen product, hormone then you can substitute it by eating phytoestrogens products. Now out there, very readily available you can buy like soy products that have very, very good levels of phytoestrogens in it to replace the diminished amounts in your body and therefore that will help to relive some of the symptoms of menopause. Tofu is a great way of being able to supplement the estrogen in your body. And tofu can come in lots of different varieties and forms, you can also get tofu like products out there that looks like, for example I’ve seen tofu sausages, they’ve made it to taste like sausage, though it’s made from soy bean product. Also what’s interesting, you can also go and buy a cream, topical creams, they’re not edible, but the creams you can put on your skin because sometimes they put some of this natural product into the creams where you can put it on your skin to decrease the dryness as well because that’s worse, most women are prone to, by loss of estrogen in the body then their body is more prone to getting dry skin. So these, this is very important that you, you can also, you know to think about, for trying to relive the symptoms of menopause. "
